But when you live at The Mansfield, you don't have to go far to wet your whistle. From classic cocktail lounges to sophisticated bistros, fun-filled karaoke joints, neighborhood pubs, and even a speakeasy or two, the Miracle Mile boasts some of the buzziest bars in LA!

Ray's and Stark Bar

Located behind Chris Burden’s iconic Urban Light installation on Wilshire Boulevard, Ray’s and Stark Bar is an urban culinary oasis surrounded by some of the most celebrated artwork in the world. They serve seasonal fare and favorites from a wood-burning oven, including Neapolitan-style pizza, housemade pastas, salads made with the freshest ingredients from their own garden, and small plates to share. Named in honor of film producer Ray Stark, guests can enjoy a California-centric wine list, the nation’s most extensive water menu, and an artisanal selection of beers and spirits, creating a dynamic ambiance for art-loving patrons. 

Blue Collar

Art Deco meets noir vibes at Blue Collar, a small bar serving custom cocktails crafted specifically for your palate. With no stated menu, expect a drink of the day that’s either completely original or a new twist on a classic cocktail. All drinks are made daily with fresh squeezed locally sourced fruit, homemade syrups, and fresh garnishes, created by their master bartenders.

Little Bar

The Little Bar 757 S La Brea Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90036

Known to locals as Miracle Mile's favorite neighborhood bar, LA Weekly calls Little Bar an East Coast bar set in the middle of Los Angeles. With great service, a killer jukebox, and a friendly crowd, Little Bar serves up essential cocktails, 15 beers on tap, and a few nice wines by the glass. There's no kitchen, but you can bring in your own food  or have it delivered. Huitlacoche Food Truck is parked out front on Fri & Sat nights, but no outside beverages please.

The Normandie Club

Inspired by the moody elegance of a classic cocktail lounge, The Normandie Club serves up creative drinks with a side of stmosphere. Located in the historic Hotel Normandie, this popular lounge offers an ever-changing cocktail menu, along with a hand-picked selection of wines and bubblies. Fresh twists on old favorites include the Spritz (Blanc Vermouth, cucumber water, Douglas Fir Eau De Vie, clarified lime juice, mint);  Collins (Blanco Tequila, pineapple & lemon juices, Campari, cinnamon, Pear Brandy, seltzer); Bloody Mary (Aquavit, fresh tomato, celery & red bell pepper juices, savory spices); and Daquiri (Rum, Singani 63, lime juice, Crème de Pêche de Vigne, Demerara) Get there early to snag a booth – this place fills up fast!

Apartment 503 Lounge

Apt 503 Lounge 3680 Wilshire Boulevard #503 Los Angeles, CA 90010

Located upstairs in a mid-Wilshire skyscraper, Apt 503 Lounge is an upscale cocktail lounge offering a lively selection of beers, wines, and specialty mixed drinks. Decorated to feel like your cool friend's apartment, the venue features a huge faux boombox DJ station, whimsical lighting fixtures, wacky architectural finishes, and even a wardrobe with dress form.

Here's Looking at You

Here's Looking at You 3901 W 6th St. Los Angeles, CA 90020

This stylish neighborhood bistro from Jonathan Whitener and Lien Ta has garnered numerous accolades from the likes of New York Times, Food & Wine Magazine, LA Times, LA Magazine, Eater, and more. Describing the cuisine and concept as “progressive SoCal food," Whitener and Ta present an inventive array of handcrafted cocktails and a globally influenced food menu. Housed in an Art Deco building on the site of a former cheesesteak shop, Here's Looking at You radiates a hip, modern vibe with Edison bulbs, midcentury-influenced cabinetry, a playful book shelf, and perky bar stools. 

R Bar

R Bar 3331 W 8th St. Los Angeles, CA 90005

A password is required for entry at this speakeasy spot. HINT: Check out their Facebook page. With karaoke and rock on the jukebox, this dark, prohibition-style bar offers craft cocktails, a great beer selection, delicious pub fare, and casual fun in the neighborhood. Stop by for karoake on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

The Venue

Billing itself as LA's first subterranean dining and karaoke destination, The Venue is a modern American restaurant and bar established in 2017. The refined but relaxed space takes inspiration from modern contemporary design, with touches such as vintage woods, found furniture, and exposed concrete, to create a warm, convivial atmosphere. Offering a menu of market-driven seasonal shared plates, craft cocktails, and local small batch wines and beers, The Venue includes a spacious dining room and bar, plus 13 private karaoke rooms that can accommodate anywhere from 2 – 50 guests.
